How to 'make it' as a Dev. Tech Blog

Data Scientist | Software Engineer | Developer

Asaad Khattab

I’m a data scientist, analyst, developer, and lifelong learner. I have demonstrated abilities to analyze data, apply statistical learning methods, and build machine learning applications to make predictions, optimize outcomes, and drive business decisions.

I believe strong in lifelong learning. I enjoy spending my free time learning on platforms like DataCamp, Linkedin Learning, and Udemy to keep up with the fast-pace of the tech industry. I also blog about what I learned on makeitdev.com - How to make it as a developer.

💡 My obsession with tech began the second I heard the startup sound on our new IBM Aptiva Windows 95 computer. I was 3-4 years old at the time and would spend hours upon hours tinkering with the settings in the control panel and exploring the built-in applications/games.

🧑‍💻My passion for web development started when I was 11 years old in 2004. My dad’s friend taught me how to create a simple html page on Microsoft FrontPage 2003 and host it to AngelFire. During middle school, I learned more html and some CSS using Macromedia Dreamweaver 8. In high school, I taught myself Wordpress and cPanel.

💻 The process of building code from scratch then sharing it with the world is as pleasurable and exciting today as it was back then!
